Los Angeles-based recording artist JIMMY has shared a new single in promotion of his previous three projects DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY, *GHETTOLAND & GNARLY. This comes after the release of a remix of Kendrick Lamar & Baby Keem's track "The Hillbillies." Check out the new song, written, produced & performed by JIMMY.

This song is JIMMY's most confident and braggadocious yet. It leans on one-liners and double entendres to create an "in your face" experience for those who dare to challenge the MC. Textbook "swag rap" at it's finest. The production is soulful and bouncy with a soul sample at it's core and blaring 808s leading the way. When juxtaposed to his previous jazzy records, this track is a refreshing and energizing milestone in JIMMY's catalogue. He says "I wanted to drop some simple lil bangers that I could bar out on like [Lil] Wayne did back in the day. That's a huge part of what I grew up on." We can expect more tracks like this to drop as he prepares to share a new string of singles and a new TV show in the next upcoming weeks. This continues to be a big year for JIMMY.
JIMMY's ambitious follow-up album DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY was released on April 14th following the release of the trailer on his Instagram and the announcement of the release date and cover art. He also shared a new website bearing the same name. Coming off the successful self-release of his previous album *GHETTOLAND back in December, JIMMY hopes to complete the mission he started and establish himself as a notable artist.
