Los Angeles-based recording artist JIMMY has shared another new single in promotion of his upcoming album SHAZAM. This comes after the lead single BEIN' MYSELF and the start of a theatric rollout where it began with the artist quitting to become a magician. Check out the new songwrittenproduced & performed by JIMMY below.

The brand new single features Jimbolini rapping & singing some of his most profound lyrics over upbeat production. The song is equal parts bright in performance and melancholy in subject matter as the magician speaks for the misunderstood. He raps, "I can pour my whole life into these lyrics that I'm givin' y'all and it wouldn't matter at all / They just want to see me dance, want to see me fall, want to see me cosigned." He also raps, "Don't nobody care how the rapper feel / Everybody tell me how I have to feel." Jimbolini highlights the struggle of entertainers who have to pretend & "put on a show" to receive love & respect from spectators despite how they feel. Fans & executives can be apathetic to the personal lives of entertainers treating them like "puppets" or "jesters" solely existing for their entertainment & pleasure. It is also a play on the storyline of The Great Jimbolini being mind-controlled by Eve Centeno. The juxtaposition of bright Pop-y production and raw lyrics is reminiscent of Hey Ya! by OutKast.

You can find the lyrics here.
