Los Angeles-based recording artist JIMMY has shared another new video for "SUPERSTAR," a song from his latest project DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY. The video displays JIMMY performing a hand full of the most common and unique responses fans submitted to the "What Makes You Happy?" form on his website back in March. Following the release of this visual, he will be executing more of these fan-submitted dreams and activities in one-off videos on his social media profiles. The song tackles the subject of the more surreal side of fame that most don't get to experience as JIMMY reveals although he's reached new heights, he's still struggling to change his conditions. It also echoes the theme presented in the visual that the spectators are as or more of the "star" as the artist in the artist-fan relationship. This honesty, vulnerability and level of relatability is responsible for acquiring and keeping his current audience. You can find the lyrics here.
JIMMY's ambitious follow-up album DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY was released on April 14th following the release of the trailer on his Instagram and the announcement of the release date and cover art. He also shared a new website bearing the same name. Coming off the successful self-release of his previous album *GHETTOLAND back in December, JIMMY hopes to complete the mission he started and establish himself as a notable artist.
