Los Angeles-based recording artist JIMMY has shared another new single in promotion of his previous three projects DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY*GHETTOLAND & GNARLY. This comes after the release of his previous single "CASH COW" and remix of Kendrick Lamar & Baby Keem's track "The Hillbillies." Check out the new songwrittenproduced & performed by JIMMY.

JIMMY boldly places a target on his back with the lyrical content of this new single. He simultaneously challenges the top dogs of modern Hip Hop to a battle of raw talent and praises their influence on his own style. Calling Tyler, The Creator, Childish Gambino & more out by name, JIMMY ushers a fun & competitive energy reminiscent of the roots of Hip Hop and more recently Kendrick Lamar's earth shattering verse on Big Sean's "Control" record.

He also dedicates the third verse of this track to calling out music journalists, streaming platforms and record labels for their failing business models. He mentions "it's their fault why artists hate the music industry" before explaining how he plans to go around their system to create his own "industry." The production is bouncy, 808 heavy and reminiscent of Cardogotwings signature style. Punching above his weight class, all eyes are on JIMMY as he claims his spot in the big leagues as an independent artist right before our eyes.

ULM 50% first month - 11 (1)

We can expect more tracks like this to drop as he prepares to share a new string of singles and a new TV show in the next upcoming weeks. This continues to be a big year for JIMMY.

You can find the lyrics here.

JIMMY's ambitious follow-up album DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY was released on April 14th following the release of the trailer on his Instagram and the announcement of the release date and cover art. He also shared a new website bearing the same name. Coming off the successful self-release of his previous album *GHETTOLAND back in December, JIMMY hopes to complete the mission he started and establish himself as a notable artist. JIMMY teased the name of DWMYH in the fourth episode of his docuseries TV show "*GHETTOLAND". Read the latest review of DWMYH here. Check out the song below.
